The PFIFFNER Group is a family-run Swiss company whose roots go back over a hundred years. Rich in engineering experience and innovative strength, it unites numerous companies under one roof: PFIFFNER, MOSER GLASER, ALPHA-ET, HAEFELY and HAVECO. Together, they offer a wide range of integrated solutions and services for the distribution and transportation of electricity worldwide: whether in Switzerland, Germany, Turkey or Brazil.

The challenge.
Despite its impressive global presence and deep-rooted expertise, the PFIFFNER Group lacked a clear and strong brand identity. In addition, the full potential of being part of the group was hardly used strategically. As a result, valuable synergies were not being optimally exploited - neither internally nor in external communication. The aim was to develop a communication strategy that both reflects the diversity of the individual companies and strengthens the group as a whole.

Added to this was the complexity of the solutions on offer: PFIFFNER products and services are technically highly specialized and cover a broad spectrum. The challenge was to translate this complexity into a visual identity that is consistent, attractive and at the same time flexible enough to be applied to all subsidiaries.

The solution.
In order to develop a sound brand strategy, a strategic workshop was held to lay the foundations for the new brand identity. The common customer benefits and synergy effects were identified as well as a clear positioning. A comprehensive brand manual was then developed, which defines both the core values and the strategic brand management for the entire group and its members.

In addition, a new brand world has been created that emphasizes the unity of the companies while leaving enough room for their individual strengths.
In this way, technical excellence is combined with a clear, emotional brand world that positions the PFIFFNER Group as a leading partner in the energy sector - today and in the future.

To make the complex world of the PFIFFNER Group clear and tangible, we developed a 3D industry landscape that is anchored in an authentic Swiss mountain world. This visual representation enables visitors to the website to quickly and intuitively gain an overview of the Group's broad range of services and at the same time establish an emotional connection to the company's values.

The result
The new brand strategy is already having a clear impact: the PFIFFNER Group presents itself with a strong and uniform image - both digitally and at trade fairs, where the stands now attract significantly more attention. The new brand world is also having an impact internally: the strengthened identity and visible affiliation to the Group increase employee motivation and promote cohesion.
